Is Soy Sauce Vegan?

That’s almost half of what you should limit yourself to each day. You may want to limit your consumption of soy sauce to one teaspoon per serving.

You can also try adding less soy sauce to dishes where you don’t eat a lot of salty ingredients.

For example, instead of dipping a piece of chicken in soy sauce, you could sprinkle on some sesame seeds.

Or you could add some fresh herbs to your dish. These will provide extra flavour while reducing the amount of salt you consume.

Is Tamari sauce vegan?

Yes, tamari sauce is vegan. Tamari sauce is just plain soy sauce without any added sugar or salt. Tamari sauce is made using only soybeans, water, and salt.

Aldi soy sauce is one of the most affordable brands of soy sauce. Aldi soy sauces are made from organic soybeans and salt. They do not list any additional ingredients on the label.
